Down’s Community Farm is a community-run space in Seaford where people of all ages and backgrounds can connect, learn and grow together.
The farm brings local residents together through sustainable food growing, environmental education and practical community activities. Visitors can help in the community garden, share in seasonal harvests, attend regular working bees or learn new skills through workshops and events focused on growing food, sustainability, the environment and wellbeing.
Private growing plots are also available for people who would like space to grow their own fruit, vegetables and herbs. The farm provides an inclusive and welcoming place to spend time outdoors, meet new people and become more connected with the local community.
Visitors and new volunteers are welcome to come along, explore the farm and discover the different ways they can become involved.
Open: Saturdays, 10 am to 1 pm
Down’s Community Farm is a member of the Frankston Environmental Friends Network, connecting local volunteer organisations working to protect and care for Frankston’s natural environment.
